Hand over the pager without losing context

Paste your raw on-call notes. Your browser checks them against the handoff checklist - silenced alerts with no expiry, incidents with no owner, empty sections, times with no timezone - free, before you sign in, and nothing is uploaded. Then a paid run writes the handoff the incoming engineer can act on without a call.

Each example has a saved model run, so you can see the whole page for free.

Read in your browser. Only a paid run sends the notes to the model.

Drop a .txt, .md or .log file, or a set .json saved from this page, or
Paste your notes to price the run.

Your recent handoffs

What this does, and what it does not

The prescan reads only the text you paste. It looks for the five sections the on-call handoff template it is built on asks for - active incidents, ongoing investigations, recent changes, known issues, upcoming events - and wants either an entry or an explicit "none" for each. It flags silenced, muted or acknowledged alerts with no expiry (the incoming engineer will not be paged), active incidents with no owner or next step, clock times with no timezone, "keep an eye on" items with no threshold, and missing escalation contacts or availability. For a mid-incident handoff it wants a current status, a next step, a severity, a start time, named roles and the state of communication. These are pattern checks on words, so they can miss or over-read; the paid run answers each flag and may dismiss one with a reason.

The handoff is checked against your notes: a ticket, PR, version or @person that is not in the notes, or one from the notes that went missing, is shown under the reconciliation. Nothing is sent anywhere else and no tool is paged. Derived from the agent skill @wshobson/on-call-handoff-patterns (wshobson/agents, MIT). The example teams and tickets are fictional.
